I'm an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, where I also work with International Studies and Gender Studies. My main goals as a scholar and teacher are to produce rigorous, useful research, and to teach students how to read, think, and engage critically on some of the most pressing issues of our time, such as conflict transformation, violence, and marginalization.
